I really think it’s silly. I know Pround member of the class of 2020 we made history shirt. One the agent can hold up the bus to get a warrant which takes less than 30 min two they can just follow the bus and approach people prior to getting on the bus and three it’s well-known smugglers and human traffickers use buses to transport goods so it’s a win for the bad guys. A CPB memo leaked that told the Agents that without the express permission of a private carrier at any place other than a standard checkpoint they are required to have a warrant to enter and question riders. CPB agents had been misrepresenting this fact. As soon as Greyhound was made aware they made their policy conform with US law and began requiring warrants for searches that were not at regular checkpoints.
