I used to read them for Official Queen Cartoon Characters shirt when she was recovering from gallbladder surgery while in med school. I was around 6 years old but was an avid reader. My grandson has been delighted to stay at home for 6+ weeks. He’ll walk with mom while reading. He’s 6. Not to detract from her seeming uniqueness, but a lot of kids with one or both parents in the medical field did the same. I read the Warren Report from my dad’s library all through high school. I need to swap libraries with someone who has books that aren’t poetry, plays, philosophy, history, etc. My very favorite days when I was a kid was to be able to lie on the sofa with a stack on encyclopedias on the floor next to me.
